Hello I wonder if anyone here can help. I've just moved house and jobs and would like to make a fresh start with credit cards too. I'd like to get an Egg Money card. Now, I'm aware that moving house will confuse matters on my credit record - I have let the council in my new area know and sent off the form to be moved to the electoral roll in my new area, I have changed the address on my old credit cards and bank account. My question is - will the move count me out from applying for new cards for a while? Should I wait 6 months or so until all the changes are showing on my credit record, or will credit card companies be used to a situation like this and not worry. I was at my previous address for 12 years, and have a good credit history.

I would wait for about 6 months and confirm that you are on the electoral roll. 2) The Credit agency will link your new address and old address togetherI owe £3233 @ 0%0
