Beware! A&L free Travel insurance has changed

Anyone who has free A&L travel insurance should know that they have changed their terms and conditions so as it will only cover european destinations as opposed to worldwide. These changes come into effect at the renewel of your next policy, and they give you 28 days notice.
They 'kindly' give you the option to pay £40 to upgrade to worldwide cover.
I am not happy.

I did wonder about this as I had noticed they were only offering European cover on opening their account now.
My next trip is covered but looks like I'll need to look around for the USA trip I have in October:eek:0 -
Will that cover Eastern Europe do you know please? I use mine all the time to go back and forth to Bulgaria.
