Long story but will try and keep short, tried to reclaim my misold PPI from black horse and they refused so took claim to FOS and won my case. Got a letter from FOS saying Id get PPI back plus intrest plus compensation for the long wait from black horse within 12 weeks of signing the agreed letter.
Anyway it is 12 weeks exactly since I signed my half of the agreement on monday and all Ive had from BH is a letter stating how much I am owed and a cheque will follow shortly.
Somebody suggested to me that if I have not received the money by this date then its a breach of contract on their half and I should get back in touch with FOS does anyone know if this is correct ?
Thanks

Hi There
It is not unusual for these lenders to take a long time to pay the refund as they are very busy refunding lots of money:eek:
If you contact the FOS they may well send them a nudge but it sounds as if you will get the money back within the month now. Fingers crossed it is sooner. It is not Breach of Contract as there is no contract in place. The FOS are mediating between the two of you.:mad:0 -
Thanks for the advice
Was hoping it would come soon as Im planning to pay cc's off with it and didnt want to make yet another monthly payment plus interest but at least I know its coming
