Hi
my contribution based jsa is ending soon and because my wife is working i know i won't be getting income support when jsa is finished!
i'll continue signing on for nat insurance contributions to be paid but i'm wanting to know if i still have to provide evidence that i'm looking for work!
so to get nat insurance payments paid what are you required to do about finding work?

thanks fionnsda

You have to carry on the same as you are now and provide the evidence that you are looking for work as laid out in your Jobseekers agreement.
  • yes - as Healy says, carry on as before.

Not sure how old you are but you need 30 years of N.I contributions to qualify for the basic state pension.
