Hi,
I got my DD a ticket for her 11th birthday using my husband's credit card. We're planning to book a hotel nearby and he was goingto look after ourother younger chiildren there whilst I took her to the concert. I think I might have to ring the O2 beforehand and check whether it will be OK to take along the email confirmation, husband's credit card and my ID to show we have the same surname. Hopefully common sense will prevail. Failing that he will have to come with us, show his credit card at the door and hope that works - he was thinking of getting the other kids something to eat in the O2 whilst the concert is on anyway. Worst case scenario he'll have to sit through the concert instead of me - which neither he nor my daughter will be thrilled about!0 -

You might be able to get a £9 family room in the Travelodge sale starting Thursday at 6am (might be an idea to get online earlier, as often starts before 6am).Hi,

:rotfl:were probably sat next to each other mines part of daughters xmas present as well she just doesnt no it yetWe won't see her face from where we're sat at the MEN, but I suspect she'll be laughing all the way to the bank. Hope it's not Billy Ray in support or it may be a quick exit.
And Ticket master etc are having a laugh too with a £6 service charge per ticket. I certainly aint laughing.
The only consolation over this expensive evening is at least ours is after Christmas so the tickets will be part of their present.
£170 for 3 tickets. (would insert angry thingy, but can't find one angry enough)

£50 + booking fee for such an act is quite frankly way overpriced. No doubt she is a talented youngster but costing more than beyonce who I recently saw at the o2, £49.50 ticket + £7 fee is just silly. My niece who is abroad really loves this girl, then she is 7 years old. She will appeal to youngers and some grown men.
With regards to transferable ticket so anyone can use it. Normally anyone can use these tickets for entry. It's only if you have to collect the tickets from the office that the card holder has to be present with their card. Once collected, anyone can use the tickets.0 -
No, I totally agree with you Fiverqueen my DD loves Miley but there is absoloutely no way I would pay £50-£60 per ticket plus £6 per ticket booking fee to go and see her, xmas present or not. I think it is absoloutely outrageous that they are charging these prices for these tickets knowing that most of her fans will be young kids, it's expensive enough with all the hannah montana clothing, bedding, toys etc. without getting ripped off the price of a concert ticket as well! There, rant over!Fiverqueen wrote: »Those prices are outrageous for such a new performer!
Was hoping to get tickets for my two girls to go, but not at £50 each (and that's if you can find them). I've only paid £30 a ticket to see U2 in August - world mega band!
Smacks of parental exploitation to me! (or am I just a tight fisted grumpy cow?).
