Spent £3.69 in Tescos on a couple of little bits for a colleague who was good to me this week & rushed me home when I needed to get home as I was ill...also some stamps and some soya milk. But the good news is I managed to get a couple of 20p and £2 coins for the collections....and even some bits of shrapnel too for the grocery tin :D
Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
    Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010

Uh oh - am I the only one who has had a spending day today...

I went to Cribbs Causeway to meet up with a couple of fellow MSE-ers which was lovely :) It was also my first ever look in the shopping mall, so I don't think I did too badly.

£25.68 Petrol (filled right up before going, have a fair bit left)
£2.35 on coffee and banana for elevenses/the breakfast I missed
200 points in Boots on a funky soap for a present
    £4.70 on anti-perspirant stocks
£4.93 on lunch at Spud-u-like (it must be over a decade since we had one in town and I always go there when I see one!)
£15.00 in M&S on a black cashmere-mix jumper as I've got a funeral to look smart for next week :(
£3.34 in Morrisons on spaghetti, pulses and babybel to snack on instead of sweets.

Oooh I'm jealous - you meeting up with like-minded MSE-ers! Did you have a nice chat about money saving?

It was great fun and there was none of that thing of shopping with friends who egg you on to buy things that you'd rather think twice about!

Today was the first time i went into London and took food with me - normally buy stuff when i am out and about as i don't want to carry it. How lazy is that!!!!

    Have stayed in most of the day so not too bad. Spent;
    65p on Local Weekly Paper
42p on a small bar of Bournville Choc as a treat for OH as he's been very DFW today!
£1.20 on 2 coffees when I met my friend.

Have saved over £1k today though by getting Sky reduced to £7.50 pm for 6 months and also with 0% balance transfers!! OH did the Sky thing which is why he's in such good books! :T

So all in all, a great day. Pay day tomorrow and going shoping with my Mum (so will try so hard to be a good DFW). I'll take you all on my shoulder to be my conscience!
