I recently bought a Sony Camcorder throught the Argos thread. The first time i have used it was over the last few days while we were in New York. Today, I have installed the IMAGE MIXER software onto my PC which went smoothly enough, but when it comes to creating a video CD I keep getting this message:
USB connection failure. Please check the computer settings and mode settings of the device such as a camera.
Sorry but i'm not the most gifted technically so could anyone let me know how to sort this one out.
Thanks,
Pete.

Which model Camcorder and which OS are you using?
You may need to install drivers for the Camcorder.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:

Hi blinky,
It's a Sony trv250e. I have installed the drivers that came with the software disk but still no joy.

Thanks lads all sorted now went out today and bought a Firewire connection as I'm told the USB cable is not up to the job, and guess what it picked the software up straight away! Just Burned a copy and apart from the dodgy cameraman (me) it's perfect.
Once again thanks for all the help,
