Don't forget veggies - they usually get a rough beal at barbeques!
Halloumi on skewers with chilli oil drizzled on is
Soft goats cheese crumbled over roasted peppers is
I'm off to a BBQ tomorrow that will be mostly veggie, so expecting some yummy things
Your sides seem very carby - a couple of non-carby salads would be nice. I do one with baby spinach, broad beans, green beans and peas drizzled with a lemon and olive oil dressing. it's :A MSE's turbo-charged CurlyWurlyGirly:A Thinks Naughty Things Too Much Clique Member No 3, 4 & 5 Thinks Naughty Things Too Much Clique Member No 3, 4 & 5 0 0

            No Makro:mad:
Someone at work told me I could get a card easy enough, I should try. Don't know where one is, I think the nearest is about 10 miles.
Makro have some marvellous deals, but I have found Sainsburys a lot more reasonably priced when it comes to things like granulated sugar, pasta etc. The areas which Makro really shine are alcohol, fizzy drinks like cola, and a lot of the sweeties/chocolates. The deals on the alcohol are remarkable. Also big bulk packs for things like meat. I consider it an occasional trip to stock up, but extremely worth it.
Also, have a look at the https://www.mysupermarket.com site. You don't need to order, but you can see the main deals, which may help. And Sainsbury 'good' burgers are REALLY nice.
I hope you have a wonderful time.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0

I've checked, no veggies, but funny enough I had a Delia Halloumi recipe on standby;)
For sides, I was thinking of a Greek Salad, A Caezar salad, & a chive & potato salad too.0

might be easier to just have dishes of salad ingredients and people can make their own - it's what very posh hotels do. i probably wouldn't be able to eat any of your salads if prepared (tomatoes/olives/croutons etc).
As an aside, my husband isn't veggie, but he wouldn't eat meat at a barbeque (or anywhere where he didn't know where it came from/wasn't free range etc)
i'm sure your daughter's friends are less fussy than us though  :rotfl::A MSE's turbo-charged CurlyWurlyGirly:A Thinks Naughty Things Too Much Clique Member No 3, 4 & 5 Thinks Naughty Things Too Much Clique Member No 3, 4 & 5 0 0

Actually I came on here looking for good deals on nice stuff, NOT cheap stuff.
 I wouldn't actually serve anything I wouldn't eat myself.
I don't think any part of my post suggested I was after economy or even regular burgers & sausages:rolleyes::rolleyes:
Thanks for your "helpful" suggestions as always:rolleyes:0

I'm not sure if the offers are still on, but I know that Sainsbury's have had a lot of 2 for £5 kind of offers on barbeque food recently. Some of it looked very nice - I can't remember the details but I know there were kofe kebabs, steaks with a chilli marinade, that kind of thing.0

Sainsburys do a Char - Grill flavour burger in the buy 2 for £4.50 range.
Really nice ...For the fast food eaters like myself it would better be described as "Burger King flavour" ..
If someone served me one of these at a Bar-B-Q I would be more than happy
Here is a link ..It is the one at the top with no picture ..
