I'm [STRIKE]running[/STRIKE] walking for Macmillan Cancer Support, and they sent me a shirt, and iron on letters for me to put my name on my shirt. I dont iron, and cant work out how to position the letters neatly so I might just buy a permanent marker

Insurance is like forced gambling.....:cool:
From a philosophical point of view, there is very little difference between them. You hand over your money and say "I bet my house will burn down." and if it does, you get a payout...
Supposedly one difference between them is that gambling concerns itself with man-made events like horse-races, and insurance concerns itself with acts of God, like floods. But given you can bet on a white Christmas, that's not clear cut.
