Hi,
Sending an SOS!!
Our boiler has suddenly stopped working. Its only 3 years old and is a Vaillant EcoMax.
It is coming up with error code F25 on the display and then a symbol of a flame with a X thru it. I presume this means the pilot light is out. Have tried re-starting the boiler via the on/off but no use.
Any ideas guys?

Low water pressure is the F25 error on Vaillant.
Google it for instructions on how to fix - I'm not going to put it in the forum as I'm not qualified to advise.
Have you got central heating cover with BG etc?British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
Are you getting gas to your property?0

Cheers Withabix,
I have dug out the instructions on the net, it was indeed low water pressure, have topped up to 1.5 and it was quickly and easily fixed within 3 minutes and the boiler fired up straight away! :-)
Many thanks, really is appreciated!0 -
We had low pressure once and the Plumber wanted £80 call out fee, plus money to fix the problem. I just googled it and fixed it myself. The OH was very pleased.
This used to happen after we bled the raidators sometimes and it would lose pressure.I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 20100 -
I will remember that code and advice for future ref. Thanks withabix0

Vailant do have a helpline for customers but it costs a shocking £1 per minute  so only worth calling if you can't get helpful free advice from here. Also it only operates during office hours & in my experience problems always occur evening, weekends & bank holidays. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
