    Hello KTF.

    Yes that may be the case sometimes. :0)
    However as I said in my original/last message. I have got the On-Line rate of interest, but I am operating it by phone. Best of Both Worlds. :0)

    In the end I would rather have 0.5%-1% less interest, than be open to Fraud.
    Nobody can really comment until it has happend to them.

    So far I have always managed to find decent accounts without having to bank online, and Im sure GuineaPig & I are not the only ones.

    Perhaps this post should have been posted : FAO non on-line bankers :0)

    Each to their own.
    BunnyMad ==:0:)

    Have a good day.

    Let's just say over the last 30 years I have had the uncanny knack of "forecasting" some major financial events, that at the time ( 25-30 years ago) just wouldn't have entered the mental radar of anyone in the financial world. I couldn't be accurate with the time frame, just "knew" it was coming;)

    You do realise, with statements like that, all the usual suspects on this forum put their heads in their hands, and with one voice exclaimed "Oh no, just what this forum needs, another Gold Bug"

    Hello Guinea Pig.

    Nobody has the right to criticise anyone for not wanting to use Internet Banking

    Actually you do have the right - it's called freedom of speech.

    Curiously. I didnt. I just put my head in my hands and thought "oh no, just what this forum needs, another self-deluded nutter."

    Excuse me, but "uncanny ability to foresee future financial trends" my a**e, particularly when it's accompanied by a patronising knowing ;) but backed up by nothing substantial.

    When the same person states that they 'don't believe in online banking' it just makes me shake my head in despair . . .

    It just makes no sense disregarding equities just because you have some mad view that you can predict the future!

    Interesting thread. I've always wondered what I will do with the extra dough after I maxed out my ISA for the year (not there....yet!). There are just so many options...risky and safe and good and bad. What to do!?:rolleyes:
