Ebay item being returned by Royal Mail

I posted a PS3 game which I sold on ebay on 26th May.
The buyer emailed me on Monday asking if it had been sent yet. When I tracked the parcel, as I had sent it by recorded delivery, it said that it was being sent back to sender as buyer hadnt been to collect.
When will it be delivered back to me? As it has now been over 2 weeks since posting.
Thanks

It generally takes quite a while (5-14 days from date said it will be returned to sender)... It seems Royal Mail aren't great at working in reverse. The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

I am going away for a week next week, what happens if they try to return it to me while Im away? Will they just take it to the sorting office until I collect it?
Thanks0 -

I had a similar problem, I sold a bag on ebay and posted it recorded delivery on 28th May. The buyer emailed me 2 weeks later to say it's been sent back to me as the post office wouldn't hold it.
I received the bag back from the post office a few days later, so it took less than 3 weeks. But when I looked at the post office sticker on the front it said "item refused". The buyer is now saying he still wants it so can i send it back!!
Why should I have to pay for the postage again, especially as he refused to accept it in the first place?0 -
