Will I get charged?

I have a lloyds TSB classic current account with a 50 quid overdraft. Today I went £57.20 overdrawn so a total of £107.20 DR. I realised I had made this mistake when I made a purchase via my debit card on Monday. The purchase came through today and I went into the bank after work and made a £200 deposit. Will I still be charged?

I dont think so, it depends when their system checks for OD. If it is EOD then, you wont get charged.

If you rectified the unauthorised overdraft by 3.30pm, you shouldn't be charged.
Whilst my posts do not constitute financial advice, I am always, without fail, 100% right! :D

    Hi Sumbanana

If you paid funds into your account the same day, before 1530pm, and it was cleared funds, then you should not be charged. Lloyds have a "grace" period, and if you comply to this, then you should find you will be fine. If the bank authorizes that kind of over limit for you, maybe you should ask them to increase your overdraft to say £250, that way you won't be worried about going over your limit again.
