Euros as a Present

Hi this might sound strange from the title but my friend is been taken to paris by her boyfriend for her 21st birthday, I know she is skint so thought I would give her some euros as a present to spend while she is out there. (that and I cant think what else to get her)

Where would you reccommend I get these in tems of rates/commisiion? Post office or travel agent?
Thank you

Its not a strange present here! My children always get some foriegn currency from grandparents for their annual holiday. At Christmas a friend received dollars of her in-laws as they are off to Disney World later this year and a collegue at work has also been receiving dollars for his family trip to Florida (him 'the wife' and the children haven't recieved a wrapped pressie)
We always exchange at our local Post Office as its comission free and no car park fees!

M & S is commission free and usually have good rates. But shop around and remember that 'commission-free' usually comes at a higher rate than places that are up-front about commission charges. For a small amount it will still be worthwhile, but make sure you get the best deal. You can check M & S rates on their website, not sure about others.
