weller711.Comodo does a Firewall and a Antivirus have you got them both ?
Just a wild guess but do you shop at Play com ? as lots of people are having problems with cash coming out of their accounts for items they have not made.
Can you not go in bank tuesday and pay the cash in to the person you wanted to transfer to ?
Yes, just checked and it has both, just also updated.
In the last couple of weeks, I've shopped at Amazon, Asda, HMV and M&S.
The only off-line transaction I've used is buying Petrol at a Shell Petrol Station.0 -

And just because they have a little padlock at the bottom doesn't make them an honest company, it just means that the information you are sending is encrypted at your end and then decrypted at their end, who is to say they haven't passsed your info along if they are a dodgy company. But I would hazard a guess that you used a dodgy cash point or a dodgy shop assistant.
See above post, have used all the online ones for years and never had a problem yet, petrol station is new though and has just been taken over..........0 -
It's likely that your card was cloned at the Shell station.0

Yes, petrol stations can be dodgy places to use your card.
Now I only use cash at petrol stations or use forecourts where you pay by card at the pump so that no employee handles the card.0 -
My Tesco card has now been cloned twice, once they even had the 3 digits from the back of the card. The odd thing is I have no pin for the card it is only for online use and is kept at home in a safe at all times apart from when I buy something online.
The first time it was cloned I had used it once at Tesco.com and the next day someone was trying to buy a pC at PC world online and book US flights. So yes it happens. I tend to use only big sites like Amazon, Play and Tesco.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. This seems the more likely option - especially since I couldn't use the machine at the pump, it wouldn't accept my card/was broken.
Though when I paid for the petrol, nobody had hold of the card but me, I put it in the machine and entered my pin, could this happen in this case
Thanks for all your input everybody.0 -

Yes, it can. Petrol stations are particularly susceptible to the fitting of card reading devices for later cloning as they are open 24 hours a day with (usually) one staff member overnight. This gives dodgy geezers access to the card machines at times when only the ghoulies and the ghosties are abroad.0 -

how do they get access to the machines when a member of staff is present in the shop0 -
I leave that to your imagination - just bear in mind that working the night shift is a minimum wage career.0
