Amazingly he finally made contact at 11pm - another one line email to say that I should have received a replacement yesterday. Checked the consignment number with the courier and it is on the van.

Have emailed him back to ask what is happening re my £4 return p&p. I won't hold my breath.

Shouldn't tempt fate until I have them in my hands, but looks at least as though I will have them in time for xmas day - just hope this lot work ok.

But it just beggars belief as to why he couldn't just send me an email saying he was sorry for the problem but a replacement had been picked up by the courier bla bla bla. Unbelievable ::)

And yes, the moral of the story is check the negs. He only has about 20 out of 3000 odd, but almost all of them mention lack of response to emails and hassle if products are faulty. I think I have learnt from this experience.
