jobseekers after incapacity

I have recieved my IB50 to fill in for incapacity. If I was turned down ( have been on it 3.5 years) would I be able to claim jobseekers contribution based? Before claiming IB I worked for 6 years then went onot ssp for 6 months the IB. Would NI contributions have credited for me while on IB and count towards jobseekers contribution based?

I cannot claim Income based jobseekers as my husband works but do not know how I would manage if my IB stopped and I could not get a job. I do not think I am fit for work and nor does my gp, phycaitrist or cpn but I know that does not matter.

You wouldn't have paid NI contributions in the relevant years so you wouldn't be able to claim it. Your pension is protected when you're on benefits but you don't build up entitlement to contributions-based benefits.
