Birmingham Midshires - Board of Directors

How can I find out who is on the board of any building society. You would think they are part of MI6 it is so hidden.

Birmingham Midshires isn't a building society any more. It is a division of Bank of Scotland plc, which is now part of the Lloyds Banking Group.

This is clearly stated on http://www.askbm.co.uk/aboutbm/intro.asp

Follow the link to LBG, click on about us, then directors, and you end up at http://www.lloydsbankinggroup.com/about_us/directors/board_directors.asp

I don't really understand what difficulties you're having.

As far as I am aware each company is autonomous and, therefore, BM would have their own directors. I would like these names and their contact details. It isn't Lloyds directors that I want to contact.

I don't know if you are being sarcastic but I have already gone the route you have given me without success. Perhaps this is why I am asking!!!

Birmingham Midshires isn't even a separate legal entity to Bank of Scotland plc, so it can't have its own directors. It's just a brand.

The directors of Lloyds Banking Group are the directors of both Bank of Scotland plc and Lloyds TSB Bank plc. If you absolutely want to double check, use the Companies House register at http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/

Thanks, now how do I contact them. That's what I want to do. There must be a way to find an email address?

Why do you want to contact them? If you have a specific complaint then you may be better simply going through the normal complaints process.

Actually, it looks like BM does indeed have what they term a "managing director" (although he's not actually a director of the legal entity).

I would think that they will be looking at C&G and being very worried.
I have a deep burning indifference

:TThanks AGSNU, just what I wanted. I had tracked Nigel Stockton down but didn't know how to contact him. This is brilliant, they can't hide from people as tenacious as you and me!!:T:j

We are keen to hear from customers who have received great service, together with those whose dealings with BM have not met their expectations. If you have any feedback or wish to bring any particular matters to our attention, just send an email or pick up the phone.
