How can I find out who is on the board of any building society. You would think they are part of MI6 it is so hidden.

Birmingham Midshires isn't a building society any more. It is a division of Bank of Scotland plc, which is now part of the Lloyds Banking Group.
This is clearly stated on http://www.askbm.co.uk/aboutbm/intro.asp
Follow the link to LBG, click on about us, then directors, and you end up at http://www.lloydsbankinggroup.com/about_us/directors/board_directors.asp
I don't really understand what difficulties you're having.0 -
As far as I am aware each company is autonomous and, therefore, BM would have their own directors. I would like these names and their contact details. It isn't Lloyds directors that I want to contact.
I don't know if you are being sarcastic but I have already gone the route you have given me without success. Perhaps this is why I am asking!!!0 -
Birmingham Midshires isn't even a separate legal entity to Bank of Scotland plc, so it can't have its own directors. It's just a brand.
The directors of Lloyds Banking Group are the directors of both Bank of Scotland plc and Lloyds TSB Bank plc. If you absolutely want to double check, use the Companies House register at http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/0 -
Thanks, now how do I contact them. That's what I want to do. There must be a way to find an email address?0

Actually, it looks like BM does indeed have what they term a "managing director" (although he's not actually a director of the legal entity).

I would think that they will be looking at C&G and being very worried.I have a deep burning indifference0

:TThanks AGSNU, just what I wanted. I had tracked Nigel Stockton down but didn't know how to contact him. This is brilliant, they can't hide from people as tenacious as you and me!!:T:j0
