I have been told that if you have a Blackberry you can text or email another person with a Blackberry for free any where in the world. Can this be true?

Dunno about texts but if you have a Blackberry you can email people with or without Blackberrys 0 -

Sorry for the short and sweet answer, but NO...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

you can us the blackberry messenger put that uses blackberry internet network(BIS/BES is it)and you must know there blackberry pin for it to work
and BIS cost money to connect to ,about £5 extra a month ,i think
put if you have that just e-mail them ???
BIS = BlackBerry Internet Service
BES = BlackBerry Enterprise Serverthere or their,one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff0 -
Somebody gave me a used Blackberry 8300 and I don't think it works with PAYG. It appears you can only use it with a contract.
Looks like I will have to sell it!0
