I think you'll find there's a few supliments to add to that and maybe a higher charge if the seats arn't available. interesting to see what the final price is though. ok who's booking ? I'm only jealous cause I cant go !

Try clicking through it thou ;)

You have selected a trip to Jamaica, which includes your return flight and a 1 night stay at an accommodation chosen by us. This may be any night during your stay and will be advised on your arrival in Jamaica. Accommodation is NOT INCLUDED for the rest of your stay.

    Typical

Yet £159 still sounds cheap for return flights tho.

rent a villa for a group or family and it could be quite cheap per person

Actually works out at £198.50 per person!

    PJ
  • This only includes one night accommodation, so you would need to arrange 12 nights accommodation yourself, but if going with someone else, it might be quite inexpensive. Don't know how much Jamaica is to stay there in guesthouses.

Bear in mind that the £198.50 price is for two people travelling together. I think it's another £40 if a single traveller.

The same holiday is advertised at £30 less at http://www.sunmaster.co.uk/ £129 I'm sure they find some way to bump the price up.

Apparently they arent allowed to sell flight only deals to Jamaica so the 1 nights accomadation is to get around that loop hole. Its usually in a hostel. The rule is there to stop vagrancy and people coming on a flight only deal and thinking they can sleep on the beach. £200 is still s good price for a flight but accomodation can be pricy and booked up especially in holiday seasons like easter.

Is it to stop vagrancy?! - I always understood it was to protect the local airline monopoly (for Jamaica BA and Air Jamaica) so that although the distance is about the same a Florida prices are at least 50% higher on average for scheduled flights...
    I think....
