Norfolk Broads : Day boat hire

Hi all

In the summer there are 13 of us all going to the broads.

We want to hire a day boat that will accommodate all of us on it with self drive.


A quick google shows me that they stop at about 9 only.

Anyone any ideas?

Sorry I can't help with any advice but we did that a few years ago and it was so much fun. We found this teeny tiny pub that only the locals would know about because it was by the river and had the most disgusting but potent scrumpy. (Obviously the driver didn't have any)

We've just come back from the broads, we had our own boat with our cottage, but we noticed lots of hire boats of various sizes around on the river, not sure if I saw any of the size you're looking for tho, what about 2 smaller ones?

Alternatively, see if you can book one of the cruisers that sleep 12 for 1 day. Might not be able to if it's height of summer tho. I used to work for Barnes Brinkcraft in Wroxham when I was at school (cleaned the holiday boats - good pay for a sometimes unpleasant but mostly fun job!) so loyalty is there, but it was 15 years ago - aaaargh!
