Francophile i could well believe it....i have heard some really bad horror stories locally and this is another reason i would not hesitate to recommend someone who really does a good job.....perhaps we could put up a sticky for tradesmen who can be trusted...that definatly IS moneysaving!!!!
I have pm'd everyone who has requested the contact details so check your in boxes!!

Hi
First post so be gentle!!
Currently looking for a reliable builder to help with a house renovation project (knock down few walls, install patio doors, etc). Came across this post and was wondering if anyone could PM me details of the 'fabulous builders' that are mentioned or indeed details of any builders - good or bad!!!

The people over the back from us are needing him, they're having a 3 storey extension and it's been going on for months! The builders are noisy and rude. Would make my Gran blush with there language. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

I would be interested to know who this builder is. If he turns out to be reliable he would be well worth knowing.
Before any of you commence work make sure that you have approvals in place. Beware of anyone proposing using Building Notices, they seem to be turning out to be a cowboys charter.[STRIKE]Less is more.[/STRIKE] No less is Less.0
