Monthly or annual interest

I have an ISA with HSBC and get my interest monthly.0

But is that paid into your ISA again, or into a current account you have specified?
If a current account, as I expect, than the interest earned will be taxed from the day it reaches your current account. This is why I usually opt for yearly, but if in both cases it is paid into your ISA, I don't suppose it really matters.0 -
I'm fully aware of the tax status of ISA's.ffacoffipawb wrote:Tax is irrelevant for an ISA!
My post was in reply to regularsaver1's statement that "on savings accounts in general though - annual usually pays more than monthly".0
