Try a local broker they will know all of the companies that mirror no claims bonus

Admiral are out of the question as the car is heavily modified. It looks likely that I may have to sell car 2 or pay extra and go for a classic policy at a few hundred pounds more.

Try a local broker as they may be able to help you.

Another way would be to transfer your proper no claims bonus on to the modified vehicle and get the no claims bonus mirrored on the "Normal" car.

Have you tried a specialist broker like Adrian Flux for the modifed vehicle as they may be able to do an agreed value / limited mileage policy on it.

(Bear in mind a "normal" motor policy does not always pay a write off value that includes the value of the modifications, so it could be worth going down the specialist broker route)
