Hmmm tough one!
There's next to no info about the sagem IDT58 on the net (search and see, not even on the Sagem site) according to Argos, the box has a "RF loop" which would suggest it does not inject it's own signal into the RF (and the model number will kind of suggest that too) but then Argos aren't ever very accurate.
The Goodmans is pretty well respected although it's had some problems, apparently the 7-day EPG is on the way but not officially available for OTA download yet. However Argos state that they may replace it with a Thomson DTI-550 which they claim is of a similar specification but it's just not. So if they try and give you that, say no.
If you can get to woolies the t101+ is the one to buy!!!!! 40 notes can't go wrong!
<edit> just noticed I didn't say that RF loopthrough means you'll have to use a SCART to get the signal to the telly, and that the echostar has the same situation - that's why you really need 2x SCARTS esp if you are connecting to the video as well - further you won't get stereo from any box without using SCART0 -
Yep, another vote here for the Echostar t101+ from Woolies. Argos also sell it but its an inferior model (non-plus) and only has the 7-day EPG. £39.99 - Bargain! He huihuinga taangata he pukenga whakaaro – A meeting of people; a wellspring of ideas (Maori proverb)0

I got an Echostar T101 new version with EPG from Wollies for 29.99. It was a price error, but I would recommend the unit. It is really easy to install and very very good in weak signal areas. A friend has since bought one too and had same results. Very clear signal - all chans received and a doddle to set up. EPG is great - just like having Basic NTL really without the cost. I'm glad I ditched them (NTL).
One last thing is the remote works from virtually anywhere! It's line of sight but I have the box hidden in a chimney breast and the front is practically osbcured by cable and I never have any trouble changing chans. No reliance should be placed on the above.0
