When I was looking it was more like £2.50 - £5 delivered per sq meter. Some companies required a minimum order.
We got ours from B&Q in the end and it was about £2.50 per sq ft. Squires garden center sold it for £3.99 per sq meter.0 -
Andrew generally I would agree with that statement about turf, but the B&Q stuff tends to take extremely well, so much so one of the local estates down here use them as there soul source of turf now - they put down a fair bit and don't get any problems0

Why do people persist in asking questions on here, that they can find out the answer to, by ringing the local suppliers or visiting their websites.. In any event the prices must vary by area and supplier, and as we do not know the area where the op lives, how can any answer have any real meaning. Our local garden centres have turf on specific days and it is normal to order in advance. So there is no problem with dried out turf. Also, some sell turfs which cover a square metre and others supply smaller turfs. To compare prices you need to know in what dimensions the turfs are supplied.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
