how to back up files using xp home

Hi, any idea how i can back up files using XP home?
no i don't mean dragging/copying files to another drive or onto cd/dvd.
what i am refering to is a method where you click on, if you are using windows 98, start - program - accesories - system tools. there will be an option to do a back up. can't seem to find it on xp home. i am told this method of backing up also takes info from registry.

Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems

have you tried right clicking on the drive properties tools back up drive?I'm not poor i'm just skint0

There is a backup utility on the Windows XP Home Edition installation disc, but it's not installed by default.0

Is there a back-up on the XP media center edition?I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0
