    Ive got a smear today but i cant find my diary as i cant remember what time so can someone please remind me to phone dentist for the time
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    it's all this talk of dentists vw.....:D

    Funnily enough that's where we were yesterday (I do a family booking) - we were in and out in about 10 minutes:j:j - no fillings needed (so I guess they do clean their teeth properly.....:o ). DD2 has hospital dental follow up tomorrow though (must be coming up to a year since the accident as she was year 2 at the time).

    Finally had the packaging for the coffee machine to return it, descaled it last night and had a minor panic as the light kept flashing and wouldn't come on properly - thought it had gone wrong:rolleyes: (then read online and realised it's cos it knows there wasn't enough water left in the reservoir to make a cup......:o) - so all descaled, packed up and hubby taken in on his way to work.

    ikkle - have a fab time in Amsterdam (why am I singing 'a mouse lived in a a windmill'......:rotfl:)

    FE - you're back.....:D

    Hope everyone has a good day today - must buckle down and do some [STRIKE]housework[/STRIKE] comping today.

    Morning all :) Just nipping in to do a few comps before I shoot off to work. I thought I'd leave some of you that are very knowledgeable about 'lady things' a question...

    OK, not those type of 'lady things', I just bought some new shoes (think you would call them slingbacks) & I have started to wear what my mum would call pop socks (sort of knee high stockings that hold themselves up). Anyway, my question is this, someone at work mentioned that they last longer if you wash them in a net so I said 'oh yes of course!' Erm, what is a net & where would I get one & are they expensive? As these knee high nylons only cost £2 for 5 pairs in M&S the other day, so don't want to spend loads on the net thing.

    Please help & don't laugh at me not knowing, I'm not what you would call a girlie girl, being happier in flat shoes with socks & trousers! :o
    Sad because you don't know what to do? :sad: Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out :smiley:

    Good morning all - how are we today? Good I hope.

    In case you didn't hear amongst all the other stuff last night check out http://biketopdown.wordpress.com for some fab news about my charity bike ride!!

    And thanks to those who have sponsored me over night - you are angels you really are.

    I'm still over excited about the whole thing. Got to leave at 9am to go to this interview this morning and I'm shaking about it - silly really as I'm interviewed for work quite a bit (had one yesterday) although never in a studio. Hope I don't come across silly!!
