Thursday 11th june - what small DFW things have you done today??
Comments

..Another one here whose been a bit miserable lately! feeling ill and tired and demotivated. Sigh. Will keep listing to stay motivated.
- checked banking online - Llloyds credit card have taken a DD today that I thought had already gone (how did I miss that?). It's a week late so of course I have spent that money and now have just over £100 left to last the rest of the month. I've mangaged on less than that before, it is do-able, but still. GRRR  (end rant)
- done my scratch - 20p!
- clicks done
- hopefully a no spend day
- any surveys that come through
- lots of tidying to do tonight as we have a flat inspection at the weekend
- get an early night tonight as I'm exhasuted
- forgot to post yesterday - sent of my bigwardrobe swaps 2nd class so spent less than £2 on postage, got the job application in (email bounced back twice but got there in the end!) and did a couple of surveys.

Sorry to butt in on your thread! Just wanted to say "hurrah!" because I thought it was just me who couldn't stand the voicemail lady on Orange. Not sure if it indeed Mariella Frostrup, but it is someone with a very annoying voice!!
Will go back to lurking now. Again, apologies for butting in on your thread....Overpay!0 -

I seem to have killed the thread, so thought I would get it back on topic by listing my DFW things for today – totally uninvited – sorry!
1. Checked bank statements and savings account
2. Posted a birthday card in work post – tut tut
3. Got to work early and listed a few items on ebay
4. Leftovers for lunch
5. Emptied rubbish out of car to lessen the weight (now if I could only do that for myself....)
6. Will go for a run tonight to save money, where I usually would have opted for swimming (at £6 a go yikes!)
7. Staying in tonight with a DVD boxset I got for my birthday
8. Making dinner out of leftovers. Was very inspired by River Cottage last night and loved the fact they made a lemon drizzle cake out of mashed potato. Did I dream it?!
Again, sorry for posting without asking. Have a great day everyone! :AOverpay!0 -

Yey! If it is me being irritable, at least it isn't just me :j
My main gripe with Orange is that for a number of months, I have been unable to top-up online. All I get is a "oops... our technicians are working on it" message. As someone who rarely visits a shop or ATM and who absolutely despises having to ring them to listen to Mariella MKII... this was annoying.
So I emailed them, told them of my issue (your site is broken, your technicians are obviously rubbish because they can't fix it and I don't want to have to phone you because I have a somewhat irrational hatred of "that woman") and they told me to phone them to discuss it.
ARRRGH!
I am normally quite a calm person, but some things just get on my nerves. And like the proper Yorkshire lass I am, I have to tell people about them

You don't need permission to post
Welcome to the thread.
I'm slightly cheerier now as most of my "to do" list is done. Hope everyone else finds something to cheer them up too!0 -
Hello,
One more irritable person here. Almost walked out of work only 10 minutes after arriving there this morning. Managed to get through the day - just. I really need to start doing some market research and start my own business as I am obviously not capable working for a boss anymore.
Today very short and predictable list:
- Scratchies
- Curly
- Cashback bingo
- Supper from what is in
- Some serious HC going on as I need all clothes clean and dry by 3 pm tomorrow when the final packing is going to take place for our trip to visit BF
- Any letter writing and spreadsheet busting would be bonus"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
