Has anyone been to Disneyland in Paris, was it as nice as going to Florida.

Any recommendations for Hotels for an 8 and 10 year old

No it's no where near as good as Forida. As for hotels the Santa fe is horrid but the Cheyanne is nice although it doesnt have a pool. Sequoia lodge is in the next price range but is very relaxing and has it's own pool.
They are building a lot more rides in the parks such as buzzlightyear and tower of terror.

Stay at the Holiday Inn its FAR nicer than Disney hotels, and FAR cheaper. Out of Disneyland and all the better for it. Just buy your Disney tickets online or when you get there, but you might find access is a bit later. Buses are free and regular to the main site.

Well, we enjoyed Disneyland paris, we stayed at the newport bay and loved it!! nowhere near as good as Florida but we didn't have the Florida budsget. Hotel was fab, kids loved the Disney experience and it was enough to keep us all busy for 3 nights/4 days. Couldn't spin it out for longer as we'd seen/done evrythingwe'd wanted to by the time it came to leave.

The hotel was excellent and only a short walk to the park. All very Disney and although the French weren't as full on Disny friendly as the Americans we didn't have any problems.

In fact the new buzz light year ride is open in the next week or so.....

Don't agree with most of the comments here. We stayed last year and are planning to make a return visit in June. I am planning to get an annual pass as it is the same price as a three day hopper so we can visit again. My boys loved it and they will be 2 and 3 when we go. Lots of rides are open this year which are open for the summer season and then shut for the winter so I think we will have lots to do.

We were in DLP in December and it was nice, but we love Florida soooooooo much. In value terms Florida is a lot better. The ALL STAR resorts are amazing as buget resorts and I guess I expected DLP to be up to the same standard. Also I missed the water parks and the American warmness in the way the cast members treated people.
