Where for cheap and good coaxial wire?

Hi All

I have a few aerial installations to do for relatives and so need a fair amount of coax, 100m roll would be fine. One of these installations will be in a loft in a marginal signal area (Isle of Man, 87 miles from Winter Hill transmitter) so I think I need pretty good stuff. Anyone seen any good deals on RG6 or better coax rolls?

I got a 100m roll of RG6 last week from ebay for £19 including postage within the mainland. If it need it posting to IoM then looking at the listing it's an extra £9 on the postage

Was also going to suggest Screwfix if you have one local but they seem to have spotted doing 100m reels of RG6

Cheers. Delivery to IOM would be preferred but I can pick it up from the mainland if needs be. Screwfix is a good call - they're doing PF100 with copper braid and shielding for £37. Not sure I need this over plain RG6 though, any recommendations?

The last time I needed coaxial cable, I just went to my local TV repair shop, and they were happy to sell me as much as I wanted. I'm sure you could haggle a bit if you were buying a lot of it.

I got 25m of PF100 from Amazon the other day for a tenner better than the usual cheap stuff at any rate

Nearly used all mine as well :rolleyes: ,just about renewed all cable in the house ,as you say good quality stuff
