Panasonic - hdd camcorder issues
MaxG
in Techie Stuff
The Camera has been connected up to a PC, and turned on.
It strangely says "Connect AC Adaptor".
The adaptor is nowhere in sight, as the batteries are usually charged on a seperate battery charger dock.
This is not my camera - My Friend has the issues with it
I would like to know
Why is it displaying this message?

Erm..... 3rd Party support... that's what would happen in the 'Real World' ww.panasonic.com blah blah
I assume this is a ligimate product?
It is quicker to ring the experts than post on here.
If it's stolen ....... well........ hand it in to the police, someone spend alot of money on that.0 -
Some of these HD camcorders (certainly some of the ones I bought for work) needed to have external power when connected to the PC although these used a dock system.
In short if it's asking for the AC power then plug in the AC power...0 -

The Owner is a well Established Businessman and Entertainer, I can assure you now it has not been stolen - just the cable is in some cupboard somewhere.
Cheers other post that mentioned about connecting it externally.0 -
Mine uses the charger as a mains adaptor. Battery comes off, and the power socket is under a flap where the battery was. Needs power though, when connected to pc.
Why anyone would automatically assume it might be stolen is beyond me, very rude....0
