Has anyone have experience on reclaiming from Cahoot?

I'm applying for my first bank charge reclaim (under financial hardship rules), which totals £890 (£1044 incl interest) from Cahoot. Does anyone have any experience of them so I know what to expect?
From any dealings i've had so far I have found them to be completely unsupportive. I now owe them £230 worth of charges, as I went overdrawn by £2 (yes only £2) for get this - One day! For debit interest on an authorised overdraft because my payment from my main account took 4 days not the 3 I expected to hit the account! OK, its an account I dont use anymore and didnt update my details with so I didnt realise it was overdrawn - thats my fault and I know that. But now I have a huge charge that they wont budge on. To top it off I had a good credit rating, and now I was refused a loan on grounds I had 6 missed payments against my name - from Cahoot!!!
Any advice would be gratefully received!
