I'll find a link to the book... and post it here, so people can find more about what to do for free.

Right. They will tell you to:
1) Go to http://www.clickbank.net - and find a product to promote
2) Get a google adwords account. Account is free but you have to put money in to be able to advertise.
3) Write google adwords for your product that will entice people to click on those adverts. You'll need to understand google adwords, which you can get here: http://www.scribd.com/doc/13595606/Adwords-Made-Easy-Secrets-to-Shrink-Your-Adwords-Cost
4) Write, rewrite and test, rewrite your adverts and see which ones are working. Drop the duff ones. Improve the good ones. Continually improve/tweak. You'll get the conversion statistics inside your adwords account.
5) Use keyword research to work out which keywords to target, or you can copy other adverts that seem to get high rankings/response by downloading this free firefox addin and simply using google to search for keywords and see how much other people are paying for their adverts: http://www.ppcwebspy.com/downloads/?xc14e1a
So, if you get that lot, read up about keyword research and google adwords, chuck £50-100 into google adwords and give it a go.... some people DO make a lot of money at it. I just don't have the b4lls to try to be honest. It can be a quick way to lose £100-200 quickly, or you might be good at it or lucky and be able to write good adverts.
If you're using Clickbank products, you want to be investigating how to capture the traffic before it hits the sites you've chosen for affiliate products and get those people to join your mailing list. Then mail them complimentary products.
Even better is to set up a website dedicated to the product and direct your advert to YOUR site, that then tells people about the product you've identified ... and try to get their email address.
It's a lot of effort. It's not a 10 minutes a day thing.0 -

Think I'll just stick to the greyhound and hat routine outside Sainsburys, if you don't mind.0 -
Where I've seen most REAL money made is with freelancing... I've seen some quite high incomes from that. I promote some freelancing jobs and I know people I've shown that to have made over £50k between them in the last 1-2 years.
I probably know 100 good ways to make money ... but I don't go through any of it here. I just scribble it up in a blog I have and let people find their own way... and I twitter

Yes, some people DO make good money at it. The method is a legitimate way to make money. But you don't need to pay for the information. And, there is risk/investment in pursuing it... I didn't want anybody cluelessly wandering off thinking it was the answer to their problems.
I'd rather send somebody down a charity shop to buy stuff to flog on ebay .... or point them at matched betting. Both would, for most people, produce much better and consistent results than trying to become miracle advert copywriters using google.0 -
i might already have some of your domains list :eek::eek:PasturesNew wrote: »If you feel the need to spam !!!!!! bubbles, I'll give you my domains list and you can spam them. They're not !!!!!!.
domains are registered to an address i guess and it isnt that hard to see who it is registered to or what other websites are hosted on the same place. dont really understand how it works but for a numpty like me i just had to type a name into easily available domain reg websites and it vomits out a list and more!
ps: am not training to be a stalker, was just curious

Yes you're a stalker!
And I don't care. Hell, I have trouble getting somebody I know just 2 miles down the road to go out for a beer ... nobody's going to bother to come all this way just to stalk me.0 -
aaww. i dont like beer but wouldnt mind a 'fresh' fruit juice anyday. actually a couple of weekends ago i was in your neck of the woods for the weekend and while driving through the small welsh roads i did look out if i could spot you by the slow moving countryside. after all the photo of 'you' (supposedly) posted a few months ago by someone (might have been LIR) on another thread was awesomePasturesNew wrote: »*grins*
