Jobs: Is Working Online At Home The Way to Financial Freedom?
ps: now that we need to log in to see this part of the forum, i guess most people who might really need to explore this option will never see the post. this bit of the forum has already been buried alive, guess its only a matter of time before its life gets snuffed out or flushed down to dicussions between tampons, jordan, susan boyle and what not.
***EDIT: i have subsequently removed the links in this post above as pasturesnew suggested to do so as this wont be useful for most people.
i have no idea whether this works but it might be an useful option to explore for those looking for jobs. hope this helps atleast one person who sees this. For years we've all heard the stories of people making internet millions and now, it appears you don't have to be a technology guru at all to quickly get started making a decent income online. It's called Google Money Master and it's taking the internet and business communities alike by storm.
While researching the online-job phenomenon for this article I found countless stories of every day people making between $250 - $1000 a day from their homes. They explain that they're posting links on websites using hugely popular text advertising applications like Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing and MSN Adcenter.
Below is an excerpt from one site."Basically I actually make around $5,500 to $7,000 a month from Google. Not a ton of money. But, very solid and good. I was able to replace my previous job's income, working less than 10 hours a week on my computer at home." - Kevin H.Now we've all heard of countless 'get rich' schemes and scams and I'm sure that by now most of us have received at least one email promising us multi-million dollar fortunes if we'd only assist some displaced member of the "Nigerian Royal Family." However Google Money Master*** does not appear to get caught up in the 'hype,' instead focusing on a steady stream of results over a period of time driven by individual effort and not the promise of revealing some 'special sauce.'
..............
If you're struggling in the current economic debacle and the idea of working from home interests you, Google Money Master*** may be a viable option for you to try. The website states that there is a trial period available with every enrollment. Users pay only about $3.00 to have the kit shipped and the site states that "Satisfaction is 100% Guaranteed."

This sounds too good to be true! However, the OP is obviously a long time (and multi-thanked) MSEr so I am very unsure about whether or not to try this. Has anyone else got any thoughts?“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”

I do, and it's complete BS. Seriously, you don't even need any brains to do any math. The second you see "I make £silly amount to £silly amount per month" claims, that is the same second you should stop reading and consign it to the BS bin.

Where's Pastures New? She'll soon give you the low down on this......
(Her answer will probably begin: 'Pfft...' );)0 -
Remove the link ... it's not what it appears.0

Oh ... pfft.
But my previous response was too urgent to type that.
Really. Remove that link.
It's pffffft.
There is some truth in it - but it portrays itself as something other than what it is. The advert etc is to get your dosh from you ... but if you have the information for free and can really get to grips with it and work it, then it is technically possible to make money.
To make as much as they say ... probably 1 in 10,000 people who click that link would be able to make that much. It would take them a lot of effort/study/testing ... effort ... and further money. Tenacity, determination, luck, research ... etc etc.0 -
Right. This is the deal:
They simply tell you:
- become an affiliate of products
- choose a product to be an affiliate of
- an outline of how to research how to pick a product
- get a google adwords account
- pay money to google
- create google adverts for your chosen product and hope somebody is looking for it and clicks on your advert and buys the product and you get a commission
They might tell you about testing your adverts. About techniques known as long tail keywords. They might tell you about keyword research, etc etc
But ultimately, they are just telling you to pay google money to advertise products and hope some bugg4h buys it.
If anybody really wants to do this (it's a LOT of work and will require some investment while you test your advert writing skills, your product choosing skills) ... you'll get it wrong a lot... or you might be lucky .... I could point you at a book and some freebies that will get you going on that road. All for nothing.
But really... for most people it's just never going to work for them - and it certainly ISN'T anything like they're lead to believe it is.0 -
And if anybody's really interested, I could point them at some other techniques that will optimise that income potential, straying into the mysteries of list building, of backend promotion, etc etc... really, it's dull as f***.0

as i already said in my original post - i have no idea if this works or not. so tread with caution anyone who explores this.
i'll take your word for it PN and not explore the link. i was curious and was reading thru the link as it seems to be a google venture so thought it might be reliable. i was sure you would respond to this thread but still posted it just in case there was some useful info in it and to get your thoughts on it. thought would post it at the 'other' place first to get your views on it but then posted it here instead as i knew you would see it here anyway.:beer:bubblesmoney :hello:0
