correct child tax payments

Is anyone with 2 children ages 14 and 16 getting over £100 a week child tax credits. I was getting £87 up to april this year but these have now gone up to over £101 my eldest has left school but is going on to college. I have rung t.c. twice now but they keep telling me that they cant tell me accurately how much i should be getting until september. This is no good to me because if my payments go down then I may be struggling. I have only just finished paying back £4000 so you can understand my concern although t.c. doesnt seem bothered. If these payments arnt correct then I will have to put the extra away to cope with the amount being less in the future. I am totally sick of this system-please bring back f.i.s.

Phone them up again and check that your income is correct and there are no disabilities or childcare against your children that shouldn't be. If everything is correct, then your CTC payments will be right. Though they will probably change again in September, they will be very close to what you are getting now

Yes Ive rung them 3 times since April and they keep saying the same, so we shall see. They have told me that payments will remain the same in sept too. I wont hold my breath!!!!!!!!
