More info required. Are you saying that hyperlinks within posts don't work for you?
 Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:

Do you mean that when you try to put in an HTML link (in the form)
    <a href="link">link</a>

that it doesn't appear correctly? If so then it's because HTML is disabled on this (and most) forums because it can be used by malicious users to form a kind of attack against the sitem or a genuine user could just forget to close a tag and mess up the page. :)

Have you tried it again since you had problems? It may have just been a glitch on the system.

I can't think of any reason the the second box would work but not the first one!

    ;)

People use the BB Code which is the "forum safe" version of cut-down HTML. This is widely used on almost all forums, and this froum uses it too! It is simply converted to HTML by the forum software to display the post, but it is safe because there are only tags such as and which can't cause any harm. (Bold and Italics)

To post a link, have a look at sra's Link Posting guide here. I hope this helps. :)

I'm not sure if this might help but here goes. I think I am using a different user interface to you. If you change your Interface you will not need to remember how to create the link as it's just usually point and click (easier).

To change the User interface go to User Control Panel, Edit Options then scroll to the bottom and see the options in the "Miscellaneous Options". Click on Enhanced Interface then click on save changes.

When you come to post a link, highlight the text where you want to put a link, then look at the toolbar (above the text box where you usually write your postings) and click on the globe with a chain picture. The link box should pop up and then insert your link in there. Note: When posting another link within the same post, the previous link will be displayed in the link box. Just delete and put the new one in.
