Looking for a great solicitor specialising in motoring law
Options
Can anyone recommend a solicitor specialising in motoring law? The one I have is rubbish. I need someone who is not just accepting the 3rd party insurer's "no" to something that I'm claiming, especially when it is something that some may pay and some may not. The accident was not my fault (no injuries) and I want the insurer to pay for my expenses and I need a solicitor who is making an effort to get me that.

i dont think you can claim for expenses?
What were you trying to claim?0 -
when you take out a policy, don't you have the option of legal protection to recover expenses. i remember claiming back the cost of phoning the insurance company and body shop from Tesco motor.0

What is it you are trying to claim for?0

You want a solicitor who is experienced at dealing with claims, not a motoring law solicitor.
What exactly is the issue? Have you tried to discuss it with your solicitor.0 -
I need a solicitor who knows what I can claim and who knows how I can get it. I had other advice via my company's free legal hotline who said that I may or may not get the cost of e. g. the digital aerial that could not be recovered from my written off car. My solicitor is happy to accept that the 3rd party insurerer doesn't want to pay for it (and for other claims as well) and is letting them get away with it, but it appears that there are chances to get that money. The legal hotline is unfortunately not allowed to recommend someone. Has someone here had experience with a solicitor after a non fault car accident who exceeded expectations? I just need a recommendation.0

The aerial is part of the car that you have surely settled on an amount for?0

What are the items that you want to claim for, that they don't want to pay? Certainly, something like an aerial could be considered to be part of the vehicle, if it was in the car at the time it was valued.0

I highly doubt it is JUST an aerial. However, 10 items at £20 each is £200, not an inconsiderate sum.0
