OK. I've been putting this off because it's very difficult to judge a winner in here. Do I go for the rent it, make your own, overall cheapest, or the UK's cheapest? I'm really not sure. So to decide I chose the suggestions I thought best, there were 8, and put them into a hat....

Also on the thread I spotted a lovely post by Soupy, who has a school website which (s)he films science experiments on, and as part of this very kindly offered that if anyone has an experiment they want to see to e-mail and (s)he will do it for them.
