coming off income support

Hi guys

Am a single mum on income support and am wanting to get a job. I know that i have to work 16 hrs or over to qualify for working tax credit but what would happen if i got a job that was 12 or 14 hrs? I presume my income support would stop but would money be deducted from my housing benefit and other payments? I am waiting to hear on this matter from the job centre but could be a while sowas hoping someone might have been through this or similar..

Thank you for your time

xxx

If you did under 16 hours they would deduct what you earn, minus £20, from your income support.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
