Brilliant! Oh, to be able to do 10k in under an hour - working on it, working on it! Hopefully by the end of the summer.0

Rich, thanks for the summary about intervals, explained loads! Bit too advanced for me yet I think - but definitely a goal!0

Evening All!
Despite all signs pointing to me usually being sensible - had a bit of a silly day today - knew I was tired and still dragged my hulking carcass around 11 miles of evil evilness in 1:57 - really should have just called it a day after a couple of miles and had another crack tomorrow...
Anyway am going to rest tomorrow now and run again on Friday - but I am lucky I dont seem to have injured anything am just exhausted - nearly collapsed on my step
Remember this is why we tell you to listen to your body*Becky goes off muttering to herself about the telling off shes going to get from Rich later*

You've still done 11 miles at around 10:30 pace which is a good block of miles and, in itself, doesnt suggest you were too tired.
However, only you know how hard it felt and if it was a major struggle from early on it may have been better to take the hint and delay by 24 hours.
But no harm done and you will get the training benefit from doing it. Nothing but very easy running now before the 5K on Saturday though.;)Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
