Conveyancing fee for a 115k purchase

Just received our estimate from our solicitor for our house purchase... our house price is 115k.

The fees quoted are £550 + VAT for solicitors fees. Is this a bit expensive and would it be cheeky of me to ask the solicitor to reduce this fee??? (Live in Scotland btw)

Thanks!
