Independant Garage Norwich?

My daughter has just been on the phone maoning her Fiat Panda is not working correctly. Two unrelated problems starting no battery( ?) and road holding.

Obviously if I was there I could run through my usual checks and hopefully sort it but I'm not. She has just recently been made redundant and is a bit frantic about money.

So my question is can any of you kind people down there recommend a suitable independant/small mechanic/garage to have a look?

    There's a garage in Thorpe St Andrew that my BIL has been using for 15-20 years. It's behind the Shell Garage (don't know if it still is a Shell) at the junction of Plumstead Road East/Thunder Lane/Beechwood Drive.

    I dont know who to recommend but can say that I dont think the one viking recommended will rip her off. It is still a shell gargae ( I live just round the corner)

    Small world. My BIL lives in Waldeck Road, the next street running parallel to Unthank.

    Anyway there is always the Bank of Dad.;):D
