Be a Boots Product Tester.

Essex Boots dont test on animals. Prob cos animals dont use cosmetics and makeup..Part of why we test is to see if there are any allergic reactions.
I have never had any issues aside from a trial of food supplements which made me very ill after only one pill. I stopped immediately and phoned Boots to tell them.
Oh goodness I didn't mean Boots testing on animals. No company should ever do that. I meant US being treated as human guinea pigs.
The way I see it is, when I joined up testing for Boots I wasn't aware that I would be testing for safety. We shouldn't routinely expect a product sent to us from Boots to give us a bad reaction.
That should have happened BEFORE it gets to us. People get paid to test such products. I'm not prepared to test any product that comes with a warning like that. Especially after eviledna came up in spots so quickly after application. I'll ring them in the morning.0 -

But every questionnaire we get from Boots says near the back, did you get any reactions so surely you knew that everything they send us has some sort of risk ?I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. I agree, also the way i see it is i have purchased products which i've ended up throwing away after getting a reaction, and i don't have particularly sensitive skin! I had a wierd reaction with one of the serums they sent out at the end of last year, made my skin look fab but i had bright red cheeks! I wrote it on the form and they called me to check the details which i wasn't expecting at all.August: £149/£150
Sept: £200

It might be the fact that I have sensitive skin and didn't really know, I tend to use face products like simple and No7 tinted moisturiser instead of foundation as I find it too heavy feeling on my face.
It the same with all panels really, ayton moon, litmus they all come with some caveat to cover themselves if there is a reaction.
It was probably just my skin saying no to rosewater! My spots have all cleared up now.
I had a reaction to one of the serums we tested previously through Boots with exactly the same results.
If you are worried, I would do just a patch test first instead of putting it all over your face/neck like I did :rotfl:

I got a trial with AM recently that said you must NOT use the product if you had had major surgery within the past year!!! How worrying was that! Got me wondering. Needless to say, I let my friend try it!MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOUR0
