As for serum/moisturiser - I always use serum then moisturiser, but when I once bought the Even Better serum from Clinique, the lady at the counter told me to use it after moisturiser, as they say nothing should come in between your 'three step routine'.No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60

Well I've tried it the usual way and I've tried it the way Boots say and I have to say I prefer the usual way of serum first, then moisturiser.
When I tried it the way they said to, yesterday, I found that my face was too dry for my foundation afterwards. Also, the moisturiser dried a bit sticky and then I had to use the serum on top. I didn't like using it that way at all. So I'll go back to the usual way of serum first and then moisturiser and I will put on the questionnaire that I tried it both ways.Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -

I Googled this Clinique product and interestingly found this quote on the Miss Stylish website: http://www.missstylish.co.uk/clinique-even-better-clinical-dark-spot-corrector-30ml-review-a-wonderful-skin-brightening-serum-for-acne-blemishes-and-dark-spots.html where they reviewed the Even Better serum:
On Clinique website, it says this product should be applied after the 3-Step Skin Care System which means cleansing, toning, moisturizing, and Clinical Dark Spot Corrector. However, I didn’t follow the official instruction as I feel strange applying a serum on top of the moisturiser rather than under. Usually a serum is finer than a moisturiser. Applying it on the top of the moisturiser may block it from being absorbed. So I just applied it between toning and moisturizing.
That's exactly what I was saying, that it's strange to apply a serum on top of a moisturiser as the whole point of a serum is to lock in moisture before then applying moisturiser.Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -

Make sure you tell them all this in detail little wren as they may be trying to guage the effectiveness of a backwards regime. I have always heard its serum first so it soaks in..
Yes I will do thanks Reverbe, it's a strange regime that doesn't work for me.Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -
