Qashqai +2 buying
Hi, Folks
Badly needed your advice and opinions on this,,my family loves to get a Qashqai + 2 and we are in the process of shopping around even online and found Carsandfinance.com. It quoted me £14955 for a Qashqai+2 Visia including metallic paint and parking sensors for front and rear. This is with £4k deposit and 36 monthly payments of £304+.
What do you think? Should we go for it, although it is online? Another thing, we went to Nissan Garrage yesterday, and we told the salesman we are interested in buying a QQ+2, the first thing he asked was how soon are you buying because he said if not that soon, they cant give us a test drive for it. Is that right
Thanks peeps...

The only reason the salesman wouldn't give you the option to test drive a car unless you were intending on buying soon is that he would prefer to spend his time attending the queue of other customers at his desk wanting to buy a car sooner.
Somehow though, I suspect that queue only existed in his dreams rather than reality. If he carries on treating potential customers like that, the next queue he'll see is the one he'll be standing in at the dole office.
I would have thought any decent car salesperson today would welcome the opportunity of giving a potential customer an accompanied test drive. Think of it, 30 minutes or more of a captured potential customer in which they can give you the hard sell to entice you to buy now."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
You didn't mention you were looking online did you? If there's no sale prospects, he won't be keen for you to have a test drive.0

Hi, mikey,,nop I didnt say anything about online, of course,,
So,,what's the verdict about the qashqai+2,,should we go for this??
thanks again!!0 -
hi, any advice and suggestions??? pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee0

The salesman was silent in our qashqai when we were considering one. He only sat in the back as it was obligatory for the insurance. You might not find many deals on qashqai at the moment as sales are high. Nissan even unmothballed the line in NE to start building more. Give some of the brokers a ring and see what they can do.0

Sounds a lot of money in my book but I hope that deal is to own it outright at the end no funny pcp deals?. As has been said no real deals around at the moment so you will be paying top dollar. You should add a couple of cars to a short list and see if you can get a deal on one of them.0

I think that attitude sums up the motor trade pretty well !!
Fortunately you do have some salesmen who are very good at there job and give customers a very good service !! my advice would avoid that one with a barge pole if he cannot be bothered to give you a test drive take your business elsewhere
Try a car broker such as Dealdrivers who posts on here or Carfile but there are not massive discounts on the Qashqai+2but you will get some0 -
No problems like that at my local Nissan Garage, if a demo car is available, they just give me the key and off I go.
Mind you if you are perceived as a time waster then you won't get that level of service.
Nissan has some offers on the Cumquat at the moment here is the link.
