Starting my own business teaching spanish

You could make videos to put on a website teaching people how to speak the language as well. It's just an idea, though. All the people you tutor could then have a place to go to after classes if they needed any help that way. You could possibly charge for a membership to the website.
Yeah! How about a funny Youtube promo vid, with Spanish translation of a popular song, or something riffing on a popular phenom e.g. Spanish things on my Spanish cat? Then a link to your website. I would say your or a friend's kids saying basic, funny Spanish phrases, but there are so many freaks out there... For a business website you have to make your address available via WHOIS, and I don't think they accept P.O. boxes.
If it went viral that'd be a lot of free publicity.0 -
wigglebeena, you are being so helpful, thank so much;
I think I want a web site but I dont want to put videos of myself there, there are weird people out there, and i just don't want the hazzle.Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0 -
Everyone is so clever, thank you very much, I knew it awas a good idea to post here !.
Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out.
I personally wouldn`t pay £20ph but would pay £10. If it`s someone wanting to learn for business reasons, they might pay more, but they would probably want/need to learn quickly too. The `average` holidaymaker type customer who is happy with one lesson a week for as long as it takes i don`t think would pay £20 (£20x ?? =???).
Why not advertise at £15/20ph with the first 5 lessons at £10. get them in, get them hooked and then when you get to know them you will get a `feel` for whether they will stay on at the full price. If not, you can offer to keep them at £10.
Might also be worth offering a discount for paying in advance for xx lessons.0
