Hi I have downloaded a video clip off my sony handycam and would like to cut it. Is there a free programe I can use to do this? My pc doesnt seem to have windows movie maker installed.

Hi Pete,
Are you running Windows 7? If you're using Vista or XP then you should have Movie Maker.
Windows 7 does not include it but there is a downloadable version - Windows Live Movie Maker (Beta) which is a cut down version of it.
Have a look on http://download.live.com and click Download and you should see it in the list of available applications.
ETA. If it's still Beta software, then it's not a finished product. If you are non-technical or are under any doubt as to the effects this could have on your syste, then I'd recommend you do not install it. I have tried it and it's stable as far as I can tell, but just wanted to add the warning.
