*edit - this has been extended, but we're not sure how long for...!

Paying your bills clicky

Just heard on the radio they're doing this again, but this time they're running it for a month so we can be driven nuts for even longer! :j

You can register your bills from today, but they won't start reading out winners' names until Monday 15 June.

THE CLAIM NUMBER: 0207 4848 958

Same deal as last time:

All you need to do is enter the details on your bill by following the correct link and each day we'll make a random draw of people to play. If you're lucky enough to be picked to play, we will read out your name on-air. Then you'll have 30 minutes to call us (on 0207 4848 958 ) to get your bill paid. If you don't ring us within thirty minutes, sorry, you've just lost your chance!

Remember, you can only enter each category once, but you can enter all four categories if you have four different bills that need paying.

Click here to enter if your bill is under £100
Click here to enter if your bill is between £100.01 and £250
Click here to enter if your bill is between £250.01 and £500
Click here to enter if your bill is between £500.01 and £1000

Have highlighted the most pertinent points about when the comp is running from their T&Cs below:

1.Details of the Competition
1.1 To enter the Competition an entrant must go online to capitalfm.com and register their details. Entrants will only need to register once to be eligible for selection throughout the duration of the contest. Registration will start on Wednesday June 10th and will close at 1pm on Friday July 17th.
Entrants will be able to choose a category within which their bill falls:
(i) £100 and less (from which a minimum of 2 contestants will be selected daily)
(i) £100.01 to £250 (from which a minimum of 2 contestants will be selected daily)
(i) £250.01 to £500 (from which a minimum of 1 contestant will be selected daily)
(i) £500.01 to £1000 (from which a minimum of 1 contestant will be selected daily)
Entrants are allowed to place one entry in all four categories.
1.2 Contestants for Tuesday to Friday executions will be selected at 1pm the day before they are broadcast. Saturday, Sunday and Monday contestants will be selected on the preceding Friday at 1pm (ie contestants can register throughout the weekend but will not be eligible for selection until Monday at 1pm).
1.3 Entry will close for the final time at 1pm on Thursday 9th July.
1.4 Competition rounds will take place from Monday 15th June through until Friday 10th July.
Monday to Friday competitions will be conducted between 7am and 7pm,.
On Saturdays the competition rounds will be conducted between 8am and 6pm,.
On Sundays the competition rounds will be conducted between 8am and 4pm,.
1.5 The presenter will read out the NAME, TYPE OF BILL and the AMOUNT of bill. Said person will have half an hour (30 minutes) to contact the station on the studio phone number in order to claim their prize (0207 48 48 958). No other form of communication will be acceptable and this call must be made in person by the named entrant.
1.4 Security checks will be performed when a claim is made to the prize. This will be a combination of address verification and recall of a password supplied by the contestant at point of entry.
1.5 If the contestant fails to contact the station by phone within the specified 30 minutes then no prize will be awarded.

Yes you do as you have to call up to claim the prize - you're not on air for long though IIRC, they just say you've won and then you scream down the phone and that's it.... not that I've won and can speak from experience! :D There were a few MSE winners last time though who should be able to tell you what they had to do...

Have just noticed on the page where you enter what bill you want paid there's a section that says 'Why do you need this bill paid?' - so I assume that if you have a sad story you're more likely to get picked... although it's meant to be random of course...!

Happypig did, but as was previously mentioned, it was because MSE was down for maintenance.

Usually, people able to listen post the names, locations and bill amount on this very thread, so those of us that can't listen to the radio only need to log onto this forum.

If you haven't got internet access available throughout the day, then you need to get a "buddy" to agree to ring/text you if you get called.

MSE don't allow us to list on this forum our real names and numbers, for obvious reasons.

Good luck all - and thanks OP :T
