DVD burner for Photo & video

I am after a burner for doing photo's and short video's from my camera. Up to now i have made short collections using Windows Movie Maker but am unable to burn them onto a DVD. The format is JPEG for photo and AVI video. I have Nero Express but this does not work. If possiable a free one. ( I do have a DVD writer). Thanks

Which version of NeroVision Express do you have installed?

Are you trying to create a DVD playable in a standalone DVD player(DVD Video) or just to copy the files to a DVD for playing in another PC?

In which format have you saved the files in WMM? Have you followed the instruction here?

You can try DVD Flick if your version of Nero is incomplete.

You can just burn JPG and AVI files to a DVD, but you won't be able to play the DVD as such, just read the files off the disc with a computer.

If you're trying to create a DVD "film" that you can play on a DVD plugged in to a TV set, you'll need what is known as "DVD authoring" software. I haven't used any myself, but a search such as the following should help you find some suitable software:

    http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=dvd+authoring

Try adding terms like "open source" or "freeware" if you're in a money-saving mood!
